Just as speed can be calculated from a distance-time graph by find the slope, acceleration can be calculated from a speed- time graph the same way.

Speed – plotted on the y-axis

Time – plotted on the x-axis

Slope of the graph – acceleration

The area under the line in a speed-time graph equals the distance traveled during that particular time.
