INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES 110

This course provides for the study of the operation of the internal combustion engine including the construction, theory of operation, and function of its systems. Students disassemble and assemble engines, check, measure, service, and repair components and systems. Emphasis is placed on the development of basic skills essential for persons entering the motor vehicle service trades and other allied occupations including engineering. This course should be of interest to students considering entering or learning about the opportunities and requirements of the motor vehicle service industry and students with a general interest in mechanical principles.
