INTRODUCTORY ELECTRONICS 110NOTE:This course may be selected as a student's second Science credit. This course is recognized as an elective for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering at U.N.B. This course also meets the computer literacy criteria. This course allows the student to explore electron behavior in simple and complex circuits and to investigate its behavior in direct current devices under laboratory conditions. This course will also explore electronics, introducing basic electronic components such as diodes, transistors, integrated circuits, inductors, and capacitors along with basic electronic circuitry. All labs are simulated on computers and built on proto-boards. Introductory electronics will be of interest to students with a career objective in the electrical occupational area as well as those who plan to continue their education at the technical or engineering level. | ![]() |
