This course is designed to provide the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills and work habits required to construct cabinets and built-ins found in a typical residence. Emphasis is placed on using and maintaining woodworking tools and machines. Students practice planning projects and doing cost and material estimates. The course should appeal to students interested in entering construction and woodworking occupations or with a general interest in woodworking and for those exploring options for a future career choice.
