METALS FABRICATION 110

This welding course is concerned with the process used in industry to cut, form and fasten metal. Emphasis is placed on the development of basic skills needed to use electric-arc and oxyacetylene welding and cutting processes including the preparation of material for welding. Machines and processes used to layout, cut, and form sheet metal are also included. The course should appeal to students interested in entering occupations in metal working, mechanical service, and maintenance resource materials.
