HOW TO FIND SCHOLARSHIPS

 AND BURSARIES???

 

1.                 ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS (Post Secondary Institutions)

a)    Most post secondary institutions provide a space on their application forms.

b)    Some require a separate application form and students must check with the admissions office for the institution of their choice.

 

     2.      WEB SITES

Register with your specific information ON-LINE with such sites as listed below. These change often so “google” the topic regularly. They will keep you updated once you are registered.

      3.     CONTACTS

Your employer, your parents’ employers, service clubs you or your parents belong too, your insurance companies, etc., in short, anything your family may be contacted to.  Ask them if they have a scholarship program

 

4.            LOCAL/ SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications available at the school for those listed on the master list as they arrive.  Listen to the announcements and check with Guidance. This list is posted on the www.kvhigh.com website.

       

5.            MEDIA

Check newspapers and other media for contests or other competitive scholarship opportunities. 

 

6.            CHECK DISTRICT 6 WEBSITE
