History 112 Formal Research Paper

The formal essay must be approximately 5 – 7 typed pages in length (1200-1500 words). The topics chosen must fall within the time period of 1600 – 2004. The paper is due on Monday, May 7, 2007. NO LATE PAPERS ACCEPTED. Each paper must meet the following requirements:

1. plain white paper
2. typed
3. blue or black ink
4. proper title page
5. body of essay – including an introduction and a conclusion
6. supplemental materials if desired (maps, photos, charts)
7. Bibliography
