Title: A Walk To Remember!

Background: Is it easy to maintain a constant pace when walking? Sure, unless there are some distractions. How can we determine if a certain motion is constant? Graph it.

Process: A string of timers, six perhaps, space themselves at equal intervals along a hallway. A walker tries to balance a ball on the back of their hand while walking down the hallway. As the walker passes each timer, the time is noted. The process is repeated with a second walker. Put the data in a time-position data chart.

Questions:

1. What type of graphs did we create from the data?

2. Describe the general look of each graph.

3. How did the graphs compare with each other?
