Our library is open Monday to Friday from 8:20 to 3:45.
How do I check books in and out of the library?
CHECK OUTS:
- All material is checked out at the circulation desk as you leave the library.
- Three items may be signed out at one time.
- Books and magazines are due in two weeks.
- If you need more time, bring the book or magazine in and we will renew it for you.
- There are no overdue fines. However, any items not returned after a month will be considered lost, and you will be required to pay for the cost to replace the item.
- If you have any overdue items you will not be permitted to sign out further materials until the overdue items have been returned or paid for. Additionally, as with our school textbook policy, you will not be given any school documentation (report cards etc.) or any new textbooks.
RETURNING BOOKS
- Returned books can be dropped in the slot available at the check out desk or in the blue bin out side the library entrance.
Our library works well because:
- Our computers are used only for school work
- New books are continually arriving and put on display.
- Food and drinks are always finished before students come into the library
- There are tables provided for book bags at the entrance to the library.
The KVHS library offers a wide variety of resources:
