Safe Grad at KV typically is a party provided by the parents to the grads - a safe sober celebration, immediately following the graduation ceremony. The grads are bussed from the ceremony to the school and 'party' 'til 6 a.m., having a great time with their fellow classmates. They eat, dance, play games, casino, silent auction, eat some more and play with the very popular inflatable games.

All this fun is supported by fundraisers organized by the safe grad parent committee. This year it is being lead by Jane Whitters, Kathy Livingstone, Ruth Logan , Bob Crowley and Kristina Stanley under the watchful eye of principal Peter Smith.

Our first fundraiser is with the the Phoenix Dinner Theatre. The show is Christmas Scene Investigation and is always a fun evening combined with a live auction and 50/50, we are selling tickets $55. each, tax and gratuity included, $20. of each ticket will go to Safe Grad 2011. They will be available Wednesday October 20th at the grade 12 parent/student information meeting scheduled at the school.
